Business Development / Sales Enablement Lead

Fairfax, VA | Sales | Full-Time

Introduction

In this role you will play an integral part working alongside our sales team to facilitate the growth of eBallot. You'll work across departments to optimize our CRM system, accelerate existing opportunities, execute new sales and renewal contracts, shorten the sales cycle, and ultimately drive us towards our teamwide revenue goals.

  • Act as a liaison to encourage information-gathering and sharing between teams

  • Have a keen perception of each departmental strategy, while assisting in the evolution of our business orientations

 

Business Development / Sales Enablement (70%)

  • Grow new and renewal business
  • Work with Sales Managers to follow up with inbound & outbound sales
  • Assist with upsell and closing renewal contracts
  • Conduct product demonstrations to prospects and renewal clients
  • Track our inbound web forms queue and again route the leads in a rapid manner for response
  • Re-engaging lapsed and long-term leads as we introduce new product features with a focus on bringing them back into the funnel
  • Work with sales and marketing to develop documents and strategies that create efficiency and better qualify leads
  • Analyze current strategies of customer retention, loss, and new business and provide insight and potential initiatives for growth
  • Become an expert on conversational selling and support sales team leads/prospects via our chat technology
  • Sit in on daily standup and weekly meetings to provide current projections

 

Marketing Enablement (15%)

  • Convey sales insights to marketing team for content development support
  • Follow current and long-term content priorities to ensure timely launch of content and other marketing initiatives

 

Data Systems Maintenance (15%)

  • Become an expert in all CRM and project tools
  • Ensure quality of data and property updates in relevant tools; keep in touch with team leads about day-to-day data collection practices
    • Stay on top of how teams are utilizing these tools, suggest ways to improve by bringing these insights to team leads

 

Qualification Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a sales or customer success role
  • Preferred experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) environment
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Excellent cross group collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail – presenting, listening, writing
  • Active learner committed to new practices and technologies to continually improve the participant’s learning experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • High level of reliability and follow-through; Immediate responsiveness to all internal and external inquiries, ability to multitask under tight deadlines
  • HubSpot CRM experience preferred
  • Be a contributor to the team culture
